Daylight Savings
March 10, 2009 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
Yesterday was my first daylight savings time riding opportunity! It was very frustrating. According to how yesterday went, I have some short term goals for this spring. My plan was to jog/walk by hand Farley on the canal banks for ~30 minutes. She was a good girl, but circumstances were against us. We jogged down […] more
Crew Bags
March 9, 2009 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
I did buy a new container for a crewbag yesterday…. I have a crew bag from Sportack that I bought used (http://www.bayequest.com/). I really like it. I tried using garment bags and duffel bags for crew bags and they just don’t work as well as something made for that specific purpose. At 20MT 65 I […] more

However […] more
Back from the vet
March 4, 2009 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
So I took Farley to the vet this morning and I have “OK” news. The vet could see a very slight lameness on her left front. No head bobbing, very subtle but there. There was no pain on palapation. This all adds up to very good news! I will say that is very nice to […] more
I’ve made a decision…
March 3, 2009 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
I got an appointment with my vet tomorrow morning to ultrasound Farley’s LF digital flexor. the original plan was to keep tabs on the tendon for the first year anyways, and I haven’t had one done since June 2008 (she originally injuried it December 2007). I palapated it last night very aggressively and she may […] more
