Endurance ride = truck problems
April 8, 2010 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
I’m seeing a disturbing trend. And it has nothing to do Farley, her hocks, or my current obsession of learning to vault into the saddle (look mom! no stirrups!) Thursday before a ride = truck problems Let me take you back….way back…..to the Thursday before my 100. (Because let’s face it, anything […] more
Proof that I do NOT OCD about everything
April 8, 2010 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
Is it the season for hind limb lameness? A couple of days ago Behind the Bit had a very useful post on the 3 main medicines used in hock injections (and gave me a cheat sheet that made me sound brilliant at the vet, and now she has another great post on hock versus stifle […] more

April 6, 2010 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
I have officially made the decision that I knew I would be making since last week…. I am not going to Buck Meadows. A bad feeling in my gut for doing it so close to her first set of hock injections A not so good feeling as I looked up withdrawal times for the […] more
Miss Dandelion goes poof
April 5, 2010 | Posted by Melinda under Uncategorized |
Farley started shedding ~a month ago, but decided to do her annual hair dump starting on Friday. This means she goes “poof” like a dandelion and goes semi nude for a week, while her summer coat desperately tries to catch up. Great – just what I wanted to show this fancy lameness vet […] more
