I was so incredibly shocked and saddened by this news. The red popping up everywhere is so heartwarming. I am glad you have a good support network, and I’m keeping you and your family in my thoughts…
Guys, you should have seen the red at the service. It was amazing. And to have everyone in red made a HUGE difference in the atmosphere. It was just the sort of thing Bethany would have wanted. Absolutley perfect.
Every year when my parents asked what I wanted for Christmas, I would ask for a sister. I never got one, and I will never know what you have lost, and I will never feel your pain, but I know that you have priceless memories that I will never have and I am happy that you have that treasure.
Mel, in this post, you brought Bethany to life for those of us who never had the opportunity to meet her. Wishing you and your
family- and especially Redgirl- peace, comfort, and more laughter.
Red will be the color of the day tomorrow and you’ll be in my
thoughts.
I am so very sorry for you, your family and all her friends. It is so hard to say goodbye. Even though I have only met you briefly once and live across the country from you, if you need anything don’t hesitate! I will be wearing red for her.
oh, I am so sorry! I will be RED in spirit. I love your tribute, a lovely comic of a life that looks very well lived, even if too brief. My condolences.
I can’t be at the service, but you can believe that I will be wearing a bright RED shirt on the trail tomorrow. Know that I’m wearing it, and know that I’m thinking about you. –A
