Off the grid

I’m off the grid for the next couple days on a backpacking trip!!!! It’s the conclusion to a wonderful spring break that has been spent socializing and riding with some of my most favorite people. (speaking of favorite people, I have Aurora to thank for some beautiful trail pics of Tig taken yesterday)
I’m feeling a bit guilty rushing off before writing the last half of the Endurance Horse Research seminar summary, but better to wait and have the time to do it justice (we are just getting to the good part) than to write it now in a hotel room at 10pm, when my brain is sick of looking at a computer screen (trying to catch up on some projects before going off grid).
I’ve not been completely idle here on the blog, even if I wasn’t writing new content….after visiting Aarene’s blog in person (as opposed to just reading posts on Feedly) I noticed she was using her “pages” to a good advantage – to summarize and link posts on various subjects. I decided that was a fabulous idea and have been organizing my blog in a similar way.
I find myself looking up the same posts for people over and over…hopefully creating pages will make the information readily accessible in a way that categories, tags and the ever unreliable search option don’t.
See you on the other side of foot-time on the trail.
