The ride went well. I rode with Karen’s comments in mind and everything went well. Farley was incredible – I finally have a horse conditioned for a strong 50! Such a good feeling. The vet said at the exit check that Farley was one of the soundest horses she saw at the finish.

That is fantastic!!! Almost 9 hours of riding in a day…I think Phoenix would kill me long before we did the final soundness check. Congrats!!!

You know what I got called today at Walmart? “Oh! you must be Melinda”s sister!” Argggggg! I thought moving to Chico would let me escape that tag! I guess everyone you know comes through Walmart at some point or other (this was the coronet player from the fort point brass band)
