Running Partners

Before there was Farley, there was Toby.
Toby was my faithful running partner through school and the first part of college.
He’s getting a bit gray, and up there in years. On Mother’s day, my sister and I decided to give him a little outing around Ellis Lake, a man-made lake in the middle of Marysville.
He was happy and strong the entire way, showing that even if his ol’ hips weren’t up to a nice run, he sure appreciated the 2 hour walk.
Aww, what a sweetie! My old girl used to be my running partner, too! She’s getting up there in the years now, and has hip problems that eliminate jogging, but she still loves a good walk!
What a handsome old man! 🙂
Awww, I LOVE seeing pictures of darling Toby. I remember the time you convinced me to go with a run with you and him up on the levy. The poor boy was shaking and shivering when those semis went by 🙁
