I finished! Farley looked GREAT after the ride. My crew and friend, I* did all of her trot outs for me and she looked good all day. No problem with 6 loops out of camp – Farley was ready to go each time. We did miles 50-85 all by our lonesome and she was very forward the entire time – it was a great “check” for both of us.
For LD’s and 50’s and 65’s, Farley “learned” the distance after completing the distance 3x, and that seems to be true with the 100’s. She truly seemed to “get” it at this ride, and actually seemed to be looking forward to a 7th loop, if that was the plan.

zach – a ton of people said that to me on this ride – that Farley and I make a great team. Someone even said “inspirational”. 🙂 It’s nice that we have finally reached a point where our relationship is evident.
Yep – I have some stories…needless to say after packing my butt around in an absolutely black forest (some of the trail wasn’t marked because they ran out of glow bars) until 3am means she’s a keeper.
