Clinic schedule and other stuff

I accidentally posted an article on “recovery” that was still in draft form (getting used to my wordpress editor!). I took it down but I know that it auto publishes to Feedly and other RSS feeders, so if you came here trying to read the rest of it, I didn’t want to disappoint you with no new content….
So, I’ll share with you some exciting news. Today I got my senior schedule!
It’s definitely not ideal – I got to chose the rotations but not the order or when they occurred so I’m disappointed that Virgina City 100 is mostly out for me, as is Cache Creek 50. But, I’ve figured out a way to make endurance work for me so far (while being told it would be impossible) so I’m sure I’ll find a way to work in the important things in life while in clinics too. I’m nothing if not adaptable and motivated to be creative when it comes to trail time.
And did I mention Tig and I got out on the trails again? Many thanks to Aurora at Redheaded Endurance for the babysitting trip.
BTW…results posted for the 35K!!!!!
For some reason my name appears twice – ignore that. I was definitely of one (and sound) mind that day. Although it’s not every day I come in 9th AND 10th so perhaps I get a special award? If this was endurance that’s like 2 concurrent top 10’s.
9th overall, 5th/9 females. Ummm…..I was like the youngest there. Same age as the male winner. So perhaps my best distance running is still ahead of me? A nice feeling since vet school does make me feel like the “old person” sometimes. (I’m the oldest person out of the food animal people believe it or not!).
The photos they took of me running across no hands bridge were going to be posted on their website but I haven’t seen them yet.
I’ll get the recovery article done tomorrow and up! Hope you were excited by what you briefly saw on “accident” today.
…I knew that vets had to learn A Whole Lot of different stuff, but somehow that schedule really drives it home.
O.o
Where can I see this pic of you on no hands bridge?
I haven’t checked to see if they are posted for a while. I’ll check today, but if you want to keep checking, the site is called “Elemental running”. There’s a photo section. I’m wearing patterned greenish/blue shorts, white top and red hat.
