Sometimes I manage to get out to the stable with both the camera and enough daylight trim feet, and even have some left over daylight to take some pictures. Like tonight.
Even though they were on far ends of the property novice horse people picked them out as looking the same among the twenty plus bay and grey horses on the ranch. So definately something. Hoping I did the next best thing to cloning the grumpy pony 🙂
Yup, I could tell them apart every time. Baby looks less like a baby, but doesn’t quite look grown up yet. In three years, I wonder if I will be able to tell them apart?
I suspect in ride photos where I can’t see face markings and ml white back spots are covered by a saddle I’ll have trouble picking out who is who unless I remember what ride it is. Sorta facinating in a weird way because they look a like while not looking alike. I think it plays into the whole doppelgänger thing I find really facinating in people.
One thing I noticed in those photos (thinking about the grey thing) is that she doesn’t have the goggles that all the bays that go grey (that I have seen) have had.
